What must I do?! This question that is asked in reference to salvation and eternal life is a question that plagues a lot of people. In response, they grasp at many things in a futile effort to receive what they desire. Some believe that if they are good people, all will be OK while others feel that they have to punish themselves in some form to receive recognition from God. Some people become religious. They believe that if they follow a long list of rules, God will grant them what they seek. As Phillip explains, the great news is that God makes salvation freely available to anybody that wants it. Better yet, is that the path to salvation is clear and unambiguous. There is no confusion and nothing to figure out. |
