Sermon Title: The City of Refuge
Sermon Date: February 6, 2010
Reading: Joshua 20
Duration: 40 minutes
Description: In ancient times, God had instructed Moses to construct cities of refuge whenever he entered a land. Phillip examines the many purposes of these cities and explores how these passages invariably paint a beautiful picture of the grace of God, in whom we believe. In many respects, these cities represent many aspects of our relationship with God and also serve to illustrate how much God has provided for us. The city of refuge exists today and is available to each and all of us, regardless of location, time or any other restriction.
