Description:	God calls on us to not love the world or the things of this world. Why is this? If we look at the world around us, we see that it exists in direct contradiction to the Word of God. If the world tells us something is good, God tells us it is not and vise-versa. Furthermore, the Bible also tells us that this world is passing away. The question George puts forth is this: Do you want to establish a life based on this world which is passing away, or on God, who is everlasting?
