A Conversation with Jesus

Q: Jesus I have heard a lot about you… Please tell me who you actually are?

A: If you ask a few people the time, you will get a variety of answers. If you want the correct time, you have to consult the observatory.

Q: In this instance, what is the observatory?

A: The Holy Bible. Open it up and read it earnestly. You will find in it all the answers you need.

Q: Exactly what will I find?

A: Hundreds of prophesies which were written millenniums before I came to earth, with all the details of my arrival.

  • The unique and supernatural miracles I performed, which ascertain my divine origin.
  • The words which I spoke, upon which all the wise amongst you, from all the ages, have studied and wondered at and subsequently been guided into the light.
  • My unequalled and unsurpassable moral, and blameless and holy life.
  • My resurrection from the dead, confirmed with steadfast historical proof.
  • The promises I made, which become a reality to those who put their trust in them, even to those who are extremely corrupt and become transformed into exemplary human beings through the renewal of their hearts.

Q: I have read that some people have doubted and still doubt that you actually existed on this earth. I want to know the truth.

A: A view like this can only be supported by those who chose to be ignorant of historical facts. There exist written historical documents apart from the authentic texts of the Gospel which show undisputed testimonies of my time here on earth.

Q: Can I hear once again from you a few of your teachings which are found in the Gospels?

A: I am the way, the truth and the life.
  • If you do not come to know me, you will depart from this life in darkness and will be eternally lost.
  • I came from above, from the Father, to give you answers.
  • I am the light of the world.
  • Those who saw me have seen the Father. The Father and I are one.
  • Nobody can come to the Father except through me.
  • I came to seek and save that which is lost.
  • I came to give life, and to give it abundantly.
  • Whoever believes in me has eternal life.
  • The person who comes to me will never be turned away.
  • Come to me all those who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
You have been created by God with an eternal and glorious destination in mind. However, you have fallen very low as a result of sin and corruption in your life. Now, as things stand, you are eternally lost because you are a sinner and guilty before the most holy God.

However, Jesus Christ loves you and came into this world in the form of a man just for you. He died in your place and paid every debt you had, saved you from every sin, and freed you from guilt. If you acknowledge your hopeless situation and believe in the redeeming love of Christ which offers you salvation, you will be able to stand before God blameless and pure.

Furthermore, Jesus was raised from the dead for your justification in the eyes of God. Take in your hands a New Testament and start to diligently read it. In it you will discover more about the love of God, the salvation he freely offers you, and the glorious future he has planned for you in heaven. He offers you all these now, because as a result of his amazing love for you, he chose to become your saviour.

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

John 8:32
