In this passage, Phillip examines Gods generous and forgiving nature when dealing with people that have their backs turned to Him. God does not actively seek to punish anyone nor does He take any pleasure from it. What He wants is for people to turn away from their selfish and evil ways and turn to Him, entirely. He challenges us all to reconsider our ways and to reason with Him. He is always ready to forgive a truly repentant heart. Such is the magnificence of God. |

First there is the question of sin. How can a guilty person, who has received a just sentence, be pardoned, so that he is at peace with God in His character of holiness? Read More
